For the second year in a row, I had a photograph accepted into the Springville Museum of Art’s 85th Annual Spring Salon. It’s always great to have photographs on display. The show was even more competitive this year: only 253 works out of the 1,102 entries were accepted. It is a great show–everyone should go check it out. It runs through July 5th. The photograph in this year’s salon is “Ashen Flame”.

Well, based on the photo, it is the only really color photo in the gallery and sticks out from the rest by not being matted and having a colored frame–very avant-garde. Like the impressionists perhaps more than the “Salon” is prepared to accept now.
